1. Who We Are

The Capacity Check is a PluggedIn tool powered by the Lets Change Forward Foundation. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use this application.

2. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address through our authentication provider (Manus OAuth, which supports Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Apple, and email sign-in). We do not store your password directly — authentication is handled by the provider you choose.

When you complete an assessment, we store your responses and the resulting scores so you can view your history and track patterns over time. We also store any action plans you create using the AI Action Planner.

If you subscribe to Capacity Plus, we collect payment information through Stripe. We do not store your full card number or CVV — Stripe handles all payment processing securely. We store only a reference to your Stripe customer record.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve the Capacity Check tool
• Display your assessment history and progress on your dashboard
• Send weekly reminder emails if you opt in to that feature
• Process subscription payments through Stripe
• Respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your assessment responses for advertising purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a secure database hosted on cloud infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Session authentication uses signed JWT tokens that expire automatically.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong password with your chosen sign-in provider.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of email reminders at any time from your profile settings

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We may use basic analytics to understand how the tool is being used in aggregate — this data is not linked to individual users.

This tool is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the tool after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
